Aziz + Cucher
PASSAGE
Through August 8th 2002
Herzilya Museum of Art
The collaborative team of Aziz + Cucher is presenting a selection of recent photographic work plus the debut of their first digital animation piece, entitled “Passage”, at the Herzliya Museum of Art, Israel, through August 8th. Picking up where their “Interior” photos left off, “Passage” depicts a subtly animated architectural space that transposes the boundaries between interior and exterior, and continues the team’s exploration of the technological uncanny in relationship to the human body and its surrounding environment.
“Passage” will also be exhibited later this month at the Netherlands Architecture Institute in Rotterdam, as part of “Latent Space,” a group show curated by Henry Urbach. Opening July 12.
