TRANS> is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization.

TRANS> is pleased to announce the inaugural opening of its new non-profit exhibition space – TRANS> area. TRANS> area opens with the first New York solo show of Paris-based artist Anri Sala and the launch of the TRANS> 9/10, as well as with two new releases by TRANS> publications of works by Anton Vidokle and Jonathan Hernández.

Anri Sala received the Best Young artist Award at the Venice Biennial this past summer, and his exhibition at TRANS>area is comprised of two video installations entitled “Missing Landscape” and “Promises.”

In addition, TRANS> is pleased to announce its upcoming participation at The Armory Show 2002 in New York, February 22 – 25 at Booth #9222, Pier 90.

On view will be new works by artists who have created pieces for TRANS>editions:
