The Museo Andersen, under the Soprintendenza Speciale of the Galleria Nazionale dArte Moderna in Rome, will open an exhibition of Anglo-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare (London, 1962) on Tuesday, 4th December 2001. The exhibition will mark a natural continuation of the museums programme of activities, aimed at focusing attention on foreign artists, either contemporary or active between the nineteenth and twentieth century, who have derived inspiration for their creations from Italy and Rome.
