In the context of the 5th edition of the triennial exhibition of the Adiaf, De leur temps (Of their time), the IAC presents a new snapshot of French collections of contemporary art through a selection of works that have been acquired since 2012. Constituting a unique panorama of recent acquisitions by French collectors, this exhibition testifies to their vitality and their passion for the art “of their time.”

The Institut d’art contemporain has chosen to place this new edition of the triennial under the sign of audacity and engagement, characterising and referring to itself as: a tool for creation, experimentation and research, one that also possesses a collection, founded on notions of creation and production.

Among the 129 artists presented, the IAC has chosen to accompany the production of new works of art by 12 artists, themselves proposed and financed by 12 collectors. A way to, beyond the objects and the artworks, participate in the creation of one’s time.

General curator: Nathalie Ergino assisted by Magalie Meunier. With the ADIAF Selections Committee: Bruno Henry, Jacques Caton & Michel Poitevin.
