In response to the main theme of this year’s biennale—Reporting From the Front—the exhibition in the Polish Pavilion reflects on what we consider to be the first front of architecture, that is, the construction site and the physical making of a building. Which raises a question: have you ever wondered how your home was built and by whom?  About the time and manpower that went into it? Did you ever stop to think about the working conditions on construction sites and whether any labour laws were broken? Can architecture be fair trade? And, as consumers, do we even care?

Find out more by visiting the Polish Pavilion during the Venice Architecture Biennale.
