The School of Art at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts is now accepting applications for the MFA studio arts degree. The early decision deadline is January 15, 2023, and final deadline for all applications on February 1, 2023.

As part of an M.F.A. program within the context of a research university, our emphasis is on the creation of innovative modes of artistic production. Offering both a two-year and three-year program, our curriculum affords the opportunity to work within one of our nationally recognized areas or across disciplines, enabling graduate candidates to develop a course of study specific to their research goals.
