The Zurich University of the Arts celebrates the diplomas 23!

Master Fine Arts degree show: Control
This year’s degree show of the Master of Fine Arts at the ZHdK presents the work of 34 artists at the beginning of their career working in a wide range of media such as painting, video, installation, and sculpture. The exhibition is not organized under a common theme, but rather presents a great variety of conceptual and formal approaches and themes that young artists are engaging with today. However, a review of the works suggests that different aspects of the notion of control—the pursuit of control or the quest to gain control over (one’s own) narratives and ideas—are recurring themes for many of the international graduates.

The exhibition is curated by Anna Goetz. Parallel to the exhibition a poster publication organized by the students will be released.
