The 28th annual Artecinema Festival will be inaugurated on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at the San Carlo Theatre in Naples and will continue on October 12 at the Madre Museum and from October 13 to 15 at the Augusteo Theatre.
Every year, Artecinema, an international contemporary art film festival, features a selection of newly produced documentaries that delve into the biographies and poetics of major artists, architects, and photographers on the international scene.
Five days of filmography devoted to contemporary art, photography, architecture which delves into aspects related to the all-too-often little-known creative genesis: through the documentaries, viewers are able to enter into the artists' studios, and observe and better appreciate the creative process of the works, the materials used, and the themes addressed.
Documentary films from different countries around the world will be presented, many of them world, European or Italian premieres, divided into sections: Art and Environs, Architecture, and Photography.
