The info day takes place digitally. There is a rich offer of videoconferences on the different aspects and artistic focuses of the study program “Media Arts” at the KHM, in which you can dial in. Teachers, the study office and students show vivid examples and give insights into the aims and possibilities of studying at the KHM—“Media Arts” in nine semesters (undergraduate, Diplom I) or four semesters (postgraduate, Diplom II). All those interested in studying and applying to the KHM are welcome to take a digital stroll! The zoom links will be published from December 4.
The study office and the four subject groups at the KHM will present the possible artistic specializations:

10–11am: Study and application procedure
Information about study / application procedure with the study office.
2–3pm: Subject group Art and Media Studies
With lecturers on the subject areas of art studies with an expanded concept of material, queer studies, transversal aesthetics.
3–4pm: exMedia subject group
Featuring faculty on the artistic focus areas of animation / 3D, experimental computer science, literary writing, sound art, globalization discourse and transformational design.
4–5pm: Subject group art
Featuring faculty on artistic focus areas of networks, video art & performance, artistic photography, public art, contemporary art/global south, experimental film, multispecies storytelling, painting & sculpture.
5–6pm: Subject group Film/Television
With faculty on artistic concentrations: screenwriting, cinematography, directing for feature and documentary films, film Theory.
The following study emphases are only a sample of those available and are listed alphabetically: animation/3D; art and media studies/queer studies; art in public space/installation/performance; artistic photography; creative production/TV and internet; documentary film/feature film; experimental film/video art; camera; literary writing/script; experimental informatics/code; sound art.
