Fondazione Torino Musei has opened the call for the position of the director of Artissima, International Contemporary Art Fair in Turin.
The director will be responsible for conception, development and implementation of the cultural and commercial project of the Fair, with the task of strengthening the international position of Artissima, ensuring the quality of art and fostering management and commercial policies aimed at increasing the profitability of the Fair.
The appointment, full time, will have a fixed term of three years. The parties may extend the contract up to two years.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: specialized knowledge of contemporary art; well-established relationships in the contemporary art market and experience in business management, ideally in the art market.
Applications must be received no later than 12pm CET on September 5, 2016.
Artissima is an international contemporary art fair featuring galleries characterized by the quality of their projects and of the artists presented. A rich array of collateral events are organized during Artissima. Held in Turin since 1994, it is a special window on international contemporary art.
