Shape your future in arts management
The MMIAM program provides an unparalleled international experience that not only enriches students’ understanding of diverse arts and culture markets but also develops a global network of professional connections.

It is a unique collaboration between HEC Montréal (Canada), Southern Methodist University (USA), and SDA Bocconi (Italy) with students spending time at each of the three campuses, immersing themselves in the cultural and business landscapes of Dallas, Montreal, and Milan. The program extends its reach with satellite campus partnerships at Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and Peking University (China), further enriching the international experience.

The curriculum combines rigorous academic training with practical insights, ensuring that graduates are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of managing arts organizations across the globe. Courses cover a wide range of topics, including marketing, fundraising, financial management, cultural policy, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and management, all tailored specifically for the arts and culture sector.

The MMIAM’s unique structure includes seminars, workshops, and direct engagement with arts organizations and professionals. This hands-on approach is further enriched by exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and meetings with CEOs at every location, providing invaluable insights into leadership and operations within the arts and culture sector. These experiences ensure that students gain real-world expertise, preparing them for leadership roles in a range of arts institutions, from museums and galleries to performing arts companies and cultural foundations. Supplementing academic study, students tackle real consulting projects, offering them invaluable professional advancement, applied experience, and an opportunity to make an impact in every visited region.

The MMIAM is led by a stellar faculty comprised of top-tier academics and industry veterans, providing a rich fusion of theoretical foundations and practical application. The curriculum is guided by an International Advisory Board with over 40 global leaders representing some of the most preeminent arts and cultural organizations worldwide.
