ARCOmadrid is beginning to outline the content of its 45th edition, which will be held from March 4–8, 2026. The International Contemporary Art Fair has officially opened the application period for participation in the General Programme, the core of the fair. Interested galleries may submit their proposals until September 18, 2025.
Faithful to its commitment to creating and promoting new opportunities for participating galleries, ARCOmadrid continues to consolidate its position as a key meeting point between the artistic community, collectors and industry professionals at an international level. Once again, the fair will remain a benchmark in the contemporary art market, bringing together high-quality works and a specialised audience.
The artistic contents of the General Programme will be made up of galleries selected by the Organising Committee, composed of Livia Benavides, 80m2 Livia Benavides; Elba Benítez, Elba Benitez; Eduardo Brandão, Vermelho; Vera Cortês, Vera Cortês; Henrique Faria, Henrique Faria; Pedro Maisterra, Maisterravalbuena; Iñigo Navarro, Leandro Navarro; Sten Nordenhake, Nordenahke; Jérôme Poggi, Poggi; Joana Roda Calvet, Bombon Projects, and Rosa Santos, Rosa Santos.
Alongside its main programme, the fair will hold a special edition in 2026 to mark its 45th anniversary, with ARCO2045 as its central theme. The curated sections will once again play a prominent role, with proposals focusing on new galleries in Opening. New galleries, and on strengthening ties with Latin American art, with the Profiles / Latin American Art project.
With this new edition, ARCOmadrid reaffirms its role as an international platform for the promotion and discovery of contemporary art, and as a key meeting point for gallerists, artists, collectors, curators and institutions.
