Not All Travellers Walk Roads—Of Humanity as Practice

The Fundação Bienal de São Paulo invites media professionals to the press conference for the 36th Bienal de São Paulo—Not All Travellers Walk Roads—Of Humanity as Practice, which will take place on September 4, from 9am to 10:30am, at the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion in São Paulo. Accreditation will be open solely to media professionals, with entry permitted from 8am to 9am. After the press conference, accredited journalists may visit the exhibition until 4pm, with exclusive access to the Pavilion. To request accreditation, please fill out the form here.
On September 5, from 10am to 6pm, the preview will take place for invited guests and accredited professionals from the art field. Conceptualised by Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung—alongside co-curators Alya Sebti, Anna Roberta Goetz, Thiago de Paula Souza, co-curator at large Keyna Eleison, and communications and strategy advisor Henriette Gallus—the 36th Bienal is inspired by the poem “Da calma e do silêncio” [Of Calm and Silence] by poet Conceição Evaristo. It is founded on active listening to humanity as a practice of constant displacement, encounter, and negotiation. The 36th Bienal will take place from September 6 2025 to January 11 2026, with free admission.
