The Jewish Museum presents a series of public programs in conjunction with two new exhibitions, Identity, Culture, and Community: Stories from the Collection of the Jewish Museum and Anish Kapoor: Early Works, featuring rarely seen works by the trailblazing artist, and highlighting Kapoor's striking pigment sculptures from the 1970s and 1980s, along with more recent pieces created with Vantablack, a nanotechnological substance that absorbs nearly all light, as well as works on paper and the artist’s sketchbooks.
Through a season of new programs, hear from artists, curators, and scholars, learn new drawing techniques in workshops held in the Pruzan Family Center for Learning, and engage with the history of works in the Museum's collection from ancient to contemporary.
