Presentation stage and exhibition of twelve young artists in Tokyo
November 8–11, 2025
Tokyo Artist Accelerator Program (TAAP) supports the international advancement of young artists from Tokyo and focuses on the presentation of the artwork by the artists themselves, supporting them to both improve their ability to speak about their works and strengthen their concepts.
TAAP Live 2025 is a stage where twelve supported artists present their work to an audience that includes domestic and international gallery owners, curators, and collectors.
Presentation Stage: It’s a ten-minute presentation stage of each twelve artists to talk about their work to the audience. They will present the outcomes of ongoing discussion with the selection committee members and mentors, consisting of gallerists, artists, collectors, curators, and contemporary art specialists with diverse backgrounds.
Work in Progress (exhibition): Exhibition of concepts, activities, and processes of each supported artists along with their presentations.
What is Tokyo Artist Accelerator Program（TAAP)
Tokyo Artist Accelerator Program（TAAP) is a program that supports young artists in the fields of fine arts or visual arts who aim to pursue professional and sustainable artistic careers. The program provides highly flexible production support grants to selected artists, as well as about 8 months of continuous mentoring with various specialists in the field of contemporary art, and creates opportunities for young artists to make speeches to contemporary art professionals in Japan and abroad (TAAP Live).
