Round II applications for RCA programmes 2026/27 are now open with a deadline of Tuesday March 17 at 12pm (BST). The final round of applications opens on Wednesday March 18 and closes on Wednesday June 3 at 12pm (BST).
Programme spotlight—Interior Design
The MA Interior Design at the RCA is a one-year full-time programme, exploring emergent ideas and issues concerning the design of the interior through research, practice and making. Students investigate how the interior acts as an interface between its occupants and the built environment and consider it as an agent for social change. The programme encourages speculation, analysis and rigour, challenging students to develop their own independent and critical responses through reworking existing structures, designing installations or creating permanent interventions using space, objects and materials. Students learn through design studios, supported by lectures, seminars and workshops, and are encouraged to question, experiment and challenge their processes by ‘thinking through making’ in both analogue and digital media. Funding and scholarship support
RCA offers a wide range of funding opportunities to support postgraduate study, including a variety of tuition fee and living cost scholarships, for both UK and international students.
