2026 MFA thesis exhibitions

Yale School of Art hosts its annual MFA thesis exhibitions featuring work from all 2026 MFA degree candidates across the school’s four departments: painting/printmaking, sculpture, photography, and graphic design. The culmination of two years of intensive artistic development, the six exhibitions showcase the results of a studio-based education integrated within a broad pedagogical framework.

All thesis exhibitions and receptions are held in the school’s Green Hall Gallery at 1156 Chapel Street, New Haven. 

Members of the public are invited into the galleries for our public receptions taking place on January 23, February 13, March 6, March 27, April 17, and May 15, all from 6–8pm. During regular operating hours the gallery is open only to the Yale Community and their invited accompanied guests.

About Yale School of Art
Yale School of Art provides students with intellectually informed, hands-on instruction in the practice of an array of visual arts media within the context of a liberal arts university.
