ARKO Art Center presents 2026 ARKO Day: Be My Crew, a special program held in conjunction with the exhibition The Art of Learning: Becoming Each Other’s School. Bringing together eight participating groups from the exhibition, ARKO Day creates an occasion for artists, collectives, curators, and audiences to meet, exchange ideas, and form new connections.
The program begins with a series of relay presentations by eight participating groups—Material Library, Mockcamp, Birdcall, Kuroda, Curating School Seoul, Happy Class, PIE, and Rat Journal. Each group will introduce its practice and share the questions, methods, and experiences that have shaped its activities. Together, the presentations explore different approaches to collective learning, knowledge sharing, self-organization, artistic production, and collaboration.
Following the presentations, a talk moderated by Hye-jung Jang and Go-eun Song will bring the participating groups and audience into conversation. The program then continues with a networking party accompanied by music from DJ Hwi Hwang, creating an informal setting for conversations and encounters to continue beyond the presentations.
As an extension of The Art of Learning: Becoming Each Other’s School, 2026 ARKO Day: Be My Crew considers how peers can become resources, collaborators, and “schools” for one another. Rather than focusing solely on the outcomes of individual practices, the program foregrounds the relationships that sustain them, inviting participants and audiences to meet, exchange knowledge, and imagine new ways of working and learning together. RSVP.
