Moreau Kusunoki presents Fragments at Yvon Lambert, the studio’s first monographic book accompanied by an exhibition of drawings exploring their visual and conceptual language.

Published by Buchhandlung Walther König, Fragments traces the discourse of Moreau Kusunoki, revealing its approach to architecture as it moves between scales, materials, and contexts. Nicolas Moreau and Hiroko Kusunoki reflect on their architectural and conceptual practice through five conversations, exploring the development of ideas, memories, and imagery that underpin the studio’s work. Illustrated with archival material alongside key projects including Guggenheim Helsinki in Helsinki (2015), Powerhouse Parramatta in Sydney (2026), and the cultural renovation of Centre Pompidou in Paris (2024-2030), these dialogues examine the tensions between precision and intuition, the tangible and the ephemeral, the individual and the collective, offering insights into design processes and intellectual pursuits.

Bringing together more than fifteen years of hand drawings by Hiroko Kusunoki, the exhibition offers insight into the studio’s creative process. Conceived alongside the inaugural eponymous publication, it reveals the intimate mechanics underlying their work.

Book launch & exhibition opening: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 6–8pm. Exhibition on view: April 17–May 3, 2026.
