MA Graduate Show 2026

Visit Arts University Plymouth’s MA Graduate Show 2026, running from July 20–30, 2026, with the Private View taking place on Thursday July 23, 6–8pm.

The exhibition showcases ambitious practice-led research and creative experimentation from postgraduate students working across art, design, craft and media. Visitors will encounter innovative responses to contemporary social, cultural and environmental questions through painting, drawing, sculptural installation, moving image, ceramics and more.

Explore a diverse range of projects developed within our specialist postgraduate community and discover work from graduating students across our MA programmes, including:

Ashley Rudolph, MA Craft & Material Practices: Ashley explores the temporary life of the objects we own, prompting deeper questions about value, waste, ephemerality, and legacy. The work examines how we curate and display these items, and how we navigate our roles as custodians of inherited family fragments.

Macy Ford, MA Design: Macy’s photographic practice aims to shine a new light on fashion photography by challenging traditional representations of women and offering an alternative perspective shaped by collaboration and agency. Influenced by feminist theories surrounding the male gaze, questioning the ways in which fashion imagery has historically positioned women as objects to be viewed rather than individuals with their own voices and identities.

Jane Knight, MA Fine Art: Jane’s practice is oriented toward decolonial, relational and embodied ways of making and knowing - guided by sympoiesis: the understanding that making, like all life, emerges through relation - with place, material, process, memory and our more-than-human kin. Working with printmaking, photography, drawing and painting, seeking creative ways of meeting the converging crises of our times - ecological, political, colonial, existential - exploring how art-making might open us to more liberatory and connected ways of being.

Grace Wiggins, MA Fine Art: Grace’s practice explores how structured yet adaptable systems of making can support a sustainable and connected practice within a fast-paced creative culture. Working through repetition, tactility and iterative processes, developing paintings from thumbnail sketches, isolated viewpoints and limited colour palettes. 

Work will be displayed in MIRROR gallery at Arts University Plymouth's Tavistock Place campus, and at our Studio 11 Building, on Regent Street (just a two minute walk from our main campus).
