From July 17 to July 19 2026, the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design (ABK Stuttgart) invites you to its annual Rundgang at the Weißenhof Campus. For a long weekend, the approximately 850 ABK students will open their studios and classrooms to present their current works and the latest projects in the fields of Architecture, Design, Art/Art Education, Art History/Aesthetics and Conservation.
The Rundgang officially opens on Friday, July 17, at 6pm with a greeting by Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Seng, the Rector of ABK. Award ceremonies, where a number of prizes, including the Academy Prize and the DAAD Prize, will be presented, guided tours and other exciting activities are part of the program.
The exhibition is open from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and from noon to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday. Themed tours through the faculties will be offered on Saturday and Sunday, beginning every full hour.
Inspired by village fairs, this year’s graphic presentation features neon colours and bold typography. The highlight is the campus guidance system consisting of neon-coloured air dancers, created in-house by communication design students Ella Udi Gebhard, Til Peter Lohmeyer, and Theodor Schäfer.
