SCADnow residential graduate program in Lacoste

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is pleased to announce for the 2026–27 academic year, a new SCADnow residential graduate program at its majestic international location in Lacoste, France, offering eligible SCADnow graduate students the opportunity to complete an academic year immersed in one of the world's most inspiring creative destinations. 

Located in the picturesque medieval village of Lacoste in Provence's Luberon Valley, SCAD’s internationally recognized study abroad location has inspired generations of artists, designers and visionaries. For a twelve-month academic year, students will live and study within beautifully restored historic buildings dating from the ninth through 19th centuries, seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge academic resources, collaborative studios, and modern technology. 

Designed exclusively for university graduate students enrolled through SCADnow, this new residential academic offering combines the flexibility of SCAD’s award-winning online education with the transformative benefits of living and studying in Provence. Students will continue advancing their graduate degrees while engaging directly with Europe’s renowned luxury, fashion, design, and creative industries through a dynamic and innovative educational experience unavailable anywhere else in the world.

Graduate students enrolled in the residential SCADnow program will also have the ability to complete on-ground coursework at SCAD Lacoste across a range of graduate disciplines offered during select quarters throughout the academic year, including animation (MA, MFA), graphic design and visual experience (MA, MFA), illustration (MA, MFA), interior design (MA), luxury and brand management (MA, MFA), painting (MFA), photography (MA, MFA), and writing (MFA).

Throughout the year, students will gain an unmatched global perspective through immersive coursework, cultural experiences, professional engagement, and curated excursions across the Provence region, while building meaningful connections with an international community of artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and creative leaders.

This new residential graduate program further expands SCADnow's innovative approach to graduate education, allowing students the flexibility to begin their degrees online before transitioning to an unparalleled in-person experience that blends academic excellence, international immersion, and career preparation.
