The Board of Directors of the Associazione per la Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo – Onlus (hereafter referred to as GAMeC), a private-law association based in Bergamo, is seeking a Director of GAMeC.
This is a three-year position with the possibility of renewal for another three years.
Anyone who meets the requirements listed in the notice (which can be viewed here) can submit an application until March 15, 2017, following the procedure indicated in the notice.
The proposals submitted by candidates will be examined by the selection committee appointed by GAMeC’s Board of Directors and composed of Gabriella Belli, Director of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, Iwona Blazwick, Director of the Whitechapel Gallery in London, and Cristian Valsecchi, Secretary General of the Fondazione Torino Musei, Sole Director of Artissima | Fiera Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea and Secretary General of AMACI.
The committee will submit a list of a maximum of five candidates to GAMeC's Board of Directors, which will reach its final decision to select the Director of GAMeC for the three-year period of 2018–20.
