Designed by French architect Christian de Portzamparc, the Philharmonie (Salle de Concerts Grande-Duchesse Joséphine- Charlotte) is the new landmark of the Place de l’Europe. Its columns encompass three concert halls, with a varying seating capacity ranging from 120 to 1,500. The artistic programme of the Hall covers a large spectrum of classical and contemporary music, including jazz, world music and children’s concerts.

Moreover, this cultural institution is home to the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
