mk2 is a company founded in 1974 by Marin Karmitz, built around three businesses: production, distribution, and exhibition. mk2 is distinguished by the desire to give voice to those who do not have it, to defend a unique vision of the world and create a model of cultural alternative that is unique in the world. An early producer for Jean-Luc Godard mk2 has worked with the Palais de Tokyo, the Centre Pompidou, and the Louvre. Today, they have over 800 films in the catalog, 240 nominations, and over 160 awards.
