Galeria Monopol was established in 2014.
Since the beginning the artistic program aimed to find common threads between artists of different generations and working in different media. Represented artists range from performance artists who debuted in the 1960s, such as Zbigniew Warpechowski, Andrzej Partum, or Maria Pinińska - Bereś, to young painters including Cyryl Polaczek and Martyna Pinkowska. Monopol values recontextualising works through finding commonalities in thought or candour across decades and identities. Apart from Polish artists, Monopol represents Leon Tarasewicz (Belarusian), Krzysztof Gil who is Roma, Gabriele Stoetzer (Germany) and Mariuccia Secol (Italy).
