VILLA Franz Erhard Walther

Since opening three years ago, the VILLA Franz Erhard Walther has brought a series of exceptional, internationally acclaimed exhibitions to the historic Baroque city of Fulda. The VILLA, a shared project of the Franz Erhard Walther Foundation and the City of Fulda sees itself as an 'unfinished space', presenting Walther's work in constantly evolving configurations within the carefully renovated 1875 Gründerzeit architecture. The series began in 2022 with the exhibition 'First Presentation of Works. Franz Erhard Walther', followed by 'ACTION AS SCULPTURE' in which Walther's works engaged in dialogue with those of Lygia Clark.
