Visual Arts Centre of Clarington (VAC)

The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington (VAC) is a not-for-profit contemporary art gallery and education centre located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada—forty-five minutes east of Toronto. The VAC curates rotating exhibitions and education programs prioritizing artistic production, predominately through new commissions by emerging and mid-career Canadian artists. We utilize art to create an inclusive space where ideas are exchanged, questions are asked, and connections are made. We connect people of all ages and backgrounds in a creative place for learning and discovery—mainly through studio education, installation, and site-specific art practices.
