The TCU School of Art will help you develop your artistic talent, prepare for a career educating future artists or learn about the world's great art through critical inquiry—all in a passionate, purposeful community of artists. Because we offer a personal, mentorship-based learning environment, you will learn directly from the active artists, educators and art historians that make up our faculty.

As a student, you will benefit from our interdisciplinary approach and explore traditional, modern and digital art practice. This philosophy extends beyond the department to other areas of the university as well. We frequently offer courses that bridge the arts and other disciplines, including the sciences, women and gender studies, and more.

Students in all areas of study benefit from TCU's location in the heart of Fort Worth. With access to world-class museums, gallery spaces and a thriving art community, you'll have countless professional development opportunities. Our goal is to put your passion into practice in whatever area of study you choose.
