Lothringer 13 Halle

Lothringer 13 Halle is a municipal art space, dedicated to experimental approaches in contemporary art and cultural practice.

Since 1980, the institution has been located in a former industrial building in the Haidhausen district of Munich and is run by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich. On 800 square meters of exhibition and studio space, internationally acclaimed projects are developed featuring artists from both the region and around the globe. To maintain a dynamic and timely programme that responds to the evolving conditions of contemporary art, the directorship of Lothringer 13 Halle is limited to a term of up to five years.
