The first German Pavilion at the 15. Gwangju Biennale in Gwangju, South Korea has been organized by PLATFORM Munich and hosted 2024 by Gwangju Folk&History Museum.

PLATFORM is a multi-faceted art space in Munich, Germany. It acts as an exhibition space for contemporary art, offers traineeships in the field of cultural management, and organizes a diverse range of projects, exhibitions and educational activities for artists.

Since 2009, PLATFORM has been funded by the Munich Employment and Qualification Program (MBQ) of the Department of Labor and Economic Development. The program is run by the Münchner Arbeit gGmbH (non-for-profit).
