The Plaza Foundation is leading the renovation of the building housing "Le Plaza," a historic cinema in Geneva, Switzerland, with the aim of creating a large cultural complex set to open in 2026. The Plaza Centre Cinema will feature several facilities, including the restored cinema, an immersive room, exhibition spaces, a bookstore-shop, a brasserie, and a cinema-hotel.

Designed in 1952 by architect Marc J. Saugey, this heritage-listed building will also host professional cinema and cultural organizations on its upper floors, making it a new hub for production and distribution in the heart of Geneva. Keeping cinema at its core, Plaza Centre Cinema will engage with various cultural fields and offer a diverse program to a broad audience.
