Viewmaster Projects

Founded in 2010, Viewmaster Projects produces large-scale exhibitions of video and media art, along with site-specific installations in public space and in distinctive indoor locations in Maastricht and other cities. Each exhibition is developed in close relation to its setting, with a focus on establishing a thematic link between content and context. This approach generates new interpretive layers in both the artworks and the spaces in which they are presented.

Each project engages with its physical environment, timely social questions and the shifting dynamics of twenty-first-century visual culture. By presenting work outside the traditional museum context, Viewmaster Projects reaches broad and often new audiences.
