Founded in 2016, the CERA PROJECT is a non-profit contemporary art organisation that promotes and exhibits artistic practices challenging Eurocentric and Western-centric narratives, fostering critical dialogue and cultural exchange between the Global North and South.
We develop, curate, and collaborate on exhibitions, multidisciplinary residencies, research initiatives, and public programmes that foster dialogue across geographies, disciplines, and perspectives. Working with artists, curators, writers, researchers, scientists, collectors, and cultural institutions, we encourage critical engagement with contemporary social, political, cultural, and environmental issues, while promoting sustainable and socially responsible approaches to artistic production and cultural exchange. Through collaborative projects developed across diverse global contexts, we invite audiences to rethink dominant narratives and imagine more inclusive and sustainable futures.
