Yun Hyong-keun (1928–2007) is a leading figure in postwar Korean art. Following the artist’s passing in 2007, the Estate of Yun Hyong-keun was established by his son, Yun Seong-ryeol, to preserve and further his artistic legacy. PKM Gallery represents the Estate of Yun Hyong-keun.
The Estate is dedicated to the preservation, stewardship, and study of Yun Hyong-keun’s works and archives. It collaborates with museums, institutions, curators, and researchers in Korea and internationally to support exhibitions, loans, publications, and scholarly research. The Estate also makes authoritative information and documentation on the artist and his practice available, contributing to the continued study and understanding of his work.
Through these activities, the Estate supports the ongoing exhibition and research of Yun Hyong-keun’s practice, ensuring that his work remains accessible to present and future audiences.
