Warwick Arts Centre, at the heart of the University of Warwick, is the largest multi-artform arts centre outside London, featuring a concert hall, mid-scale theatre, three cinemas, two studio spaces, and the Mead Gallery. Since 1974, it has worked with some of the world’s most inspiring artists such as Steve McQueen, Annie Mac, Dara O'Brien, Pauline Black, Sara Pascoe, Sir Brian Cox, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Rana Begum, and Ken Loach across a wide-ranging, multi-artform programme.
Following a major capital redevelopment, completed in 2021, Warwick Arts Centre reopened with three new cinemas, a new ground-floor exhibition space and restaurant, and an expanded foyer that hosts a programme of free activity for all our communities.
In 2024/25, it welcomed almost 1 million visitors and engaged nearly 45 thousand people in creative learning activities.
A key contributor to Coventry’s cultural economy, Warwick Arts Centre champions creativity that reflects the world around us, nurtures emerging artists, bridges gaps for underrepresented voices, and creates opportunities for people across the region to connect, learn, and be inspired.
