The Hélio Oiticica Municipal Art Center opened its doors again, after redesigning its appearance. The reunion with the public was on November 5, 2021, National Culture Day, with new works by Hélio Oiticica (1937-1980), including two installations (“Penetráveis”) created by the artist, but never executed. The reopening and presentation of the works are the result of a partnership between the RJ Municipal Department of Culture and the Hélio Oiticica Project, the institute responsible for the conservation and dissemination of the collection, kept in the house where the artist Hélio Oiticica lived, in Jardim Botânico.
