The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) is one of the preeminent non-collecting institutions of contemporary art in the U.S. CAM showcases work that reflects the world around us, and helps connect us to the most salient issues of our time. Not having a permanent collection allows us to be nimble, adaptive, and responsive—both to the global art world and our local community.

Our mission is to create meaningful engagement with the most relevant and innovative art being made today. We foster an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome and all voices are heard. CAM serves as a site for discovery, a welcoming space, and is free for all.
