To mark the publication of eflux journal #146 (June 2024), a special issue for the twentieth anniversary of McKenzie Wark's A Hacker Manifesto, e-flux presents a word and sound performance of highlights from the text, revised and updated for the present situation.

Join us on Tuesday, June 25 at 7pm, with words by McKenzie Wark and sounds by Nick Bazzano.

–Two flights of stairs lead up to the building’s front entrance at 172 Classon Avenue.     
–For elevator access, please RSVP to program@e-flux.com. The building has a freight elevator which leads into the e-flux office space. Entrance to the elevator is nearest to 180 Classon Ave (a garage door). We have a ramp for the steps within the space.              
–e-flux has an ADA-compliant bathroom. There are no steps between the event space and this bathroom.

McKenzie Wark is the author, among other things, of Reverse Cowgirl (Semiotexte), Raving (Duke) and Love and Money, Sex and Death (Verso). She teaches at The New School in New York City.

Nick Bazzano is a DJ, nightlife copywriter, event producer, and vibe curator who specializes in pretty much every room of the rave, including the bathroom. He was part of Brooklyn's infamous queer rave collective UNTER from 2016 until 2023, and currently DJs and curates rave activations both solo and as part of the duo Pure Immanence with Kiddo Sincere. Nick is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Performance Studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he will be defending his dissertation, Techno-Sonic Modulations: Topological Performativity and Strategic Rave Praxis, later this year.
