Our Love

This is a story about three young men making a living by performing cross-dressing in night clubs in Shenzhen, China, and the love searching and body transforming journey of these homosexual persons (Xiang Xiang, Ping Er and Teresa). The film is half documentary and half feature, combining fiction and reality, laughter and pain, forming a world where both sexes exist in one person.

This screening is part of Role Models, the first chapter of the film program Queer Strategies and Tentacles, curated by Rosa Barotsi and Zairong Xiang, and unfolding in eight chapters between November 11th, 2024 and March 2, 2025, with the films of each chapter streaming for two weeks.
