Pink Is the Warmest Colour

It’s ten o’clock in the evening at the Atelier dell’Errore studio in Reggio Emilia. Two of the twelve artists who make up the collective are still at work, putting the final touches on an exhibition soon to be installed in New York.

Shot in a single take, the video offers a preview of the works through a guided tour performed by the two artists. The pair—The Gamer and Nicky Baxter—argue and tease each other as they try to explain key compositional details and introduce the painted characters: Porno Amorino Anubiano, Urechis Ero-Thanatos, Sexy Aphrodite and the Holy Trinity of Unknown Pleasures, Hephaestus, and many others. Figures halfway between the animal and the divine—as in the style of Atelier dell’Errore—they embody the visionary power of unknown bodily pleasures and passionate desires.

This screening is part of Nightfalling the first chapter of the film program TUTTAUNANOTTE, curated by Francesco Urbano Ragazzi, and unfolding in four chapters between November 1, 2025 and December 26, 2025, with the films of each chapter streaming for two weeks.
