A video work presented in 2022 in Shu Yonezawa’s solo exhibition “no name,” held as part of OPENSITE 7 at Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo.

A dream seen by something not yet even a character — nameless, belonging to no one.

It murmurs, bit by bit: things one has heard before; things someone once said; things one had been thinking; things one had been thinking but could never say.

Through the inseparable interplay of voice and language, the work seeks to perceive a new form of voice that transcends both sound and visual information.

Voice: Natsumi Aoyagi
