Central Saint Martins

Central Saint Martins is a world-renowned arts and design college which brings together an extensive range of creative practices under one roof. With a belief that creativity should extend beyond the walls of the College, we encourage students to work across disciplines and to discover new ways of thinking, making and doing. We do this in partnership with multiple others – from the local to global and from industry to the public – in the belief that arts and design have the agency to affect real, productive change.

Our programmes share an approach of exploring the boundaries of their discipline; our students and staff are continually curious and always restless in developing beyond the accepted norms of their subject, so the work emerging from Central Saint Martins is at the forefront of its area. The College inspires its students and staff to be alert to new approaches and ideas; the resulting journey can be challenging but is never dull.

Courses sit within nine programmes: Foundation and Access to Higher Education; Art; Culture and Enterprise; Drama and Performance; Fashion; Graphic Communication Design; Jewellery and Textiles; Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design; Spatial Practices.
