Friedrich Fröbel (1782–1852) was a German educationalist best known for his promotion of learning through play and the invention of the kindergarten.
In his Crónicas del entusiasmo (Banda Orintal, 2018), historian Gabriel Peluffo Linari refers to this period of the ENBA as “experimentalist.” The observation is illustrative, because the contact with the array of techniques was not intended to develop crafts, but to experience materials and dimensions.
The course was called “Cultural and Historical Instruction.”
