The University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design welcomes two new tenure-track faculty members as well as five full-time lecturers in the 2016–17 academic year. They are:
Kathryn Bunn-Marcuse—Assistant Professor, Division of Art History + Curator of Northwest Native American Art at the Burke Museum (joint appointment)
Audrey Desjardins—Assistant Professor, Division of Design, Interaction Design Program
Claire Cowie—Lecturer, Division of Art, Interdisciplinary Visual Arts Program
Morten Steen Hansen—Lecturer, Division of Art History
JT Milhoan—Lecturer, Division of Design, Industrial Design Program
Dan Paz—Lecturer, Division of Art, Interdisciplinary Visual Arts Program
Kate Roberts—Lecturer, Division of Art, 3D4M Program: ceramics + glass + sculpture
Bios of our new faculty detail their backgrounds as artists, thinkers, and teachers. They bring with them a diverse range of skills that both compliment and buoy the roster of outstanding existing faculty at the School of Art + Art History + Design.
