Take advantage of the unique opportunity to visit the Guggenheim and view Going Forth By Day , Bill Viola’s powerful, new, five-part projection installation, followed by a lecture by the artist as he discusses this new commission. In Going Forth By Day, Viola references Giotto’s frescoes to examine cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. Experience his technical mastery and understanding of art and spirituality in this deeply reflective and engaging work. Bill Viola: Going Forth By Day is on view at the museum from September 21- January 12.
