Bonniers Konsthall works with contemporary artists based on what the artist needs at that very moment. Whether it is the opportunity for a retrospective, having their first solo exhibition or producing ambitious new work, artists are given time, space, freedom, resources and support to realize what they find important for their practice at that time. What visitors to Bonniers Konsthall experience is thus always central to the artistic practice and unique.

Bonniers Konsthall grew out of the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation. The annual exhibition since its inauguration in 2006 with the recipients of the Maria Bonnier Dahlin grant is thus a cornerstone in our exhibition program. With a focus on young artists active in our region, the exhibition means we together with our audience regularly return to questions about contemporary art here and now.
