Galleries interested in participating in the General Programme of the 43rd edition of ARCOmadrid can submit their proposals until September 22 through this link.
With a leading focus on research and discovery, the 43rd edition of ARCOmadrid will maintain the sections of previous years. The artistic content of the General Programme will be made up of galleries selected by the Organising Committee made up of: José Aloy, Polígrafa Obra Gràfica / Elba Benítez, Elba Benítez / Eduardo Brandão, Vermelho / Vera Cortês, Vera Cortês / Henrique Faria, Henrique Faria / Pedro Maisterra, Maisterravalbuena / Alex Mor, Mor Charpentier / Iñigo Navarro, Leandro Navarro / Sten Nordenhake, Nordenhake / Silvia Ortiz, Travesía Cuatro / and Rosa Santos, Rosa Santos.
Added to this are the curated sections: the Caribbean as the special curatorial focus of this edition, which will be curated by Carla Acevedo-Yates and Sara Hermann; Opening will once again stand out for its promotion of the young international gallery scene, bringing together a selection of galleries by Cristina Anglada and Yina Jiménez Suriel. And Never the Same. Latin American Art, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy and Manuela Moscoso will continue to investigate the diversity of artistic forms, practices and sensitivities from Latin America.
Collecting and contemporary art will be the central themes of analysis and research at ARCOmadrid’s Forum and Professional Meetings.
