One-year (45 weeks) full-time

Embrace an interdisciplinary approach to creating new spaces. Discover new models of city and urban design and uncover what’s possible for the future, working across scales from street to block to neighbourhood. Combine architectural, social sciences and scientific research whilst connecting with NGOs, policy makers, government and industry.

Design Practice MArch
One-year (45 weeks) full-time / two-years (90 weeks) part-time

Designed for architects and designers to study spatial practice in a broader sense and develop their practice in a flexible way. Students take core units such as material processes and carbon economies and choose from a range of electives, including housing & social reproduction, digital storytelling or soundscapes. Contribute to positive change in design practice by embracing innovative approaches

Environmental Architecture MA
One-year (45 weeks) full-time

Explore histories and theories of environmental change, multispecies and more-than-human design, environmental law and climate justice.  Students work with experts from other disciplines, such as filmmakers, lawyers, anthropologists or biologists, and alongside communities and at sites that are uniquely placed on the front lines of environmental and climate change

Whatever stage you are at in your career, we have a range of postgraduate programmes across the RCA led by renowned academics, researchers and practitioners, including: 

Architecture MA (ARB/RIBA), two-years, full-time 
Architecture MPhil/PhD, three to seven years, full- and part-time 
Interior Design MA, one-year, full-time
