ReWilding AI: March 21 and 28
ReWilding AI represents the culmination of research projects exploring the radical mattering of narrative ecologies via immersive and distributed intelligence. Presented by Radical Matter Research proto-Centre in the RCA School of Arts & Humanities and Digital Direction in the School of Communication at the College’s Battersea campus, booking via Eventbrite is essential.

Upcoming application deadlines: March 26
The  next deadline for Master’s and PhD applications for the 2025/6 academic year is 12 noon UK time on March 26. Prospective students are encouraged to meet this deadline to have the best chance of accessing scholarships, and to ensure availability for their first choice programmes.

Application for the May intake of the pre-Master’s Graduate Diploma close on April 19 at 11.59am UK time.

Grand Challenge exhibition: March 27–April 1
The Royal College of Art has announced the shortlist for the 2024/25 edition of the Grand Challenge, the biggest single-institution postgraduate design project in the world, this year focused on Design Resilience. An exhibition of the  projects will be open to the public at the RCA Battersea campus, London between 10am and 5pm from March 27 to April 1 (except Sunday, March 30).

Graduate exhibition RCA2025: June 18–July 19
See the Royal College of Art’s  incredible postgraduate talent for yourself!  On selected dates between June 18 and July 19 the College’s campuses will  host a series of exhibitions and events by graduating students  at RCA2025. Join us to discover a globally engaged cohort of art, design, communication and architecture practitioners.

Royal College of Art number one university for art and design

The Royal College of Art has once again been ranked the number 1 university for art & design internationally for the 11th year in a row, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 – the largest world-wide survey of academic and industry opinion. The College was also ranked number 1 for History of Art, a ranking which also collects  information on programmes teaching the history of architecture and design in addition to history of art.

Research Biennale Showcase
The recent RCA Research Biennale  showcased the PhD research of the Royal College of Art through a six-day exhibition and three-day symposium.  If you missed it, you can still view a showcase of student work online.
